From Question

Why is Medicaid important to you?

Transcript

Okay, my name is Marge, I live in Central PA. Medicaid is important because at this point we're raising our grandson, who's now turning into a teenager. He has special needs because of past history, long history of trauma. He's seen a special therapist, which has really been helping. Most of the average therapists that are covered under his father's insurance do not have the qualified therapy that he really is needed at this point. And if they were to cut Medicaid for him right now, possibly his father would not continue the therapy that is really needed for him. I have seen much improvement with this therapist since he has started to see this woman in the past year and a half of him living with us. So therefore, I really feel like it would be not to his benefit to not be able to see the therapist that he is seeing right now. It also has added some other things that I didn't realize that he would have benefit for that also will improve his life at this point. Thank you very much.
